that's very good news ... means there will be a heavy duty clutch and uprated drive train components soon available. with the existing build quality, I doubt whether the vehicle will survive any 10k miles in rough conditions.

Chilean Army adquired between 160 - 180 defenders for transport duties in the desert.
So will be quite popular here ![]() Here one single cab in a bodywork here in Chile to be transformed ![]() They bought this old models as an example to make the transformations ![]() Cheers Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" ![]() Click image to enlarge |

if they are converting the new single cabs to that desert spec, it looks like there will be a load of new take off doors and truck cabs coming out of Chille soon!

Ummm... that's a 110, not a 90 ![]()
In one of the other LR comics this month, they had another TDCi military spec with the "wolf" fiberglass roof on it, so i think they're trying all variants. |

Funny, there are 110, 90" units. No 110". They are destinated to logistics only. Reason: Any officer going to a meeting will consume less fuel compared with a Hummer. Puma 110" SW
