Do they never learn??

Both 12V and 24V systems as the old 110s used and had many problems with Rolling Eyes

They have also moved back to the small roof wich mans that as the radio operator in the back you will go back to hitting your head all the time. I guess this one is to save money.

I was expecting it to be a Wolf with a TDCi lump in it but it seems we are taking a step back. But at the same time they don't get used in operational enviroments any more.

that's very good news ... means there will be a heavy duty clutch and uprated drive train components soon available. with the existing build quality, I doubt whether the vehicle will survive any 10k miles in rough conditions.

Chile 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Stornoway Grey
Chilean Army adquired between 160 - 180 defenders for transport duties in the desert.
So will be quite popular here Mr. Green

Here one single cab in a bodywork here in Chile to be transformed

They bought this old models as an example to make the transformations

Cheers Eduardo

if they are converting the new single cabs to that desert spec, it looks like there will be a load of new take off doors and truck cabs coming out of Chille soon!

In one of the other LR comics this month, they had another TDCi military spec with the "wolf" fiberglass roof on it, so i think they're trying all variants.

Funny, there are 110, 90" units. No 110". They are destinated to logistics only. Reason: Any officer going to a meeting will consume less fuel compared with a Hummer. Puma 110" SW
