All of it probably there only tie down straps there is also a proper rachet too for heavier items and a higher break strain. Here: http://www.flatdoguk.com/cargo-strap---3mtr~403

I assume that was aimed at me .... quite the contary, you are mistaken, I think it is a well priced item, if the load quoted is for the pin as well then I will be buying some |

By the looks of it the webbing is attached to the cam lock by going around a solid part of the casting rather than a "pin" so probably pretty decent. I'd have thought that the breaking strain is for the whole item rather than individual components, my climbing harness is rated for the whole item, individual parts are not tested separately unless supplied separately. I think I'd rather buy from these guys - made in the uk rather than a cheap Chinese copy, which would most likely me made from straw and recycled coke cans! Webbing assemblies are normally rated by its weakest link.
1" cam lock buckles are typically rated at 450kg. 1" polyester webbing strength can easily have a strength in the region of 1200-2000 kg With these types of cam lock straps I would suggest that one very like failure mode is for the webbing to actually slip through the cam buckle rather then anything breaking. However I have not broken any webbing assembly in a controlled manner recently Brendan |

Look up Pendred Fogging on YouTube and you'll find various clips of our fogging units in Farmers Coldstores as today, in Morrisons, in Farm shops etc. The basic principle is to saturate the atmosphere with fog made of nothing but water and keep vegetables hydrated whilst they are kept in store. Lots of salad and brassica farmers use it, most of them in fact! Hope this helps?? 2009 XS 110 Utility Stornaway Grey
