Expedition rack & Roll cage
Hi,

Have an LR expedition rack and see that the 'monster' snow equipped Defenders ,that LR own and have been mentioned on here, have that rack but also a roll cage with them. Does anyone know what cage it is please?

Hi,

After looking at it I would say it is completely custom. The roof rack has then been modified to fit.

The best cage/ rack combo I have seen is the Safety devices one as the rack attaches to the cage rather than the guttering which has a very low load rating:

The roll cage is very similar to the Land Rover Safari that they used on export models to the USA. I’ve a comparable one made by Malcolm of Whitbread 4x4. See:

He does a great job of welding.

No, that's a LR expedition rack. Similar to the SD one but, in all honesty, not as good. Darren
