Just to make you feel better that your not alone...(fell off a trailer!)

Looks as though reinforcing is needed mainly at the front - you often see the front pushed down but the back not so bad!

Neat illustration of the crumple zone that is a Defender hardtop.

I recall a video knocking about a while ago of a standard newish Defender 110CSW rolling once or twice on a downhill descent <goes> Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

Have you tried the dealer in Ascot, Russ? Haven't used them for anything significant but did have a good experience with them a couple of weeks ago. Darren

Put new discs and pads on the rear, managed to get a few hours of dry time late afternoon. Went well apart from having one of the drive flange bolts shear off when putting them back together. It also got the wheel bearings tightened up, I got the impression that it's the first time the hubs have been touched, not bad for 143k miles. Need some new drive flanges though Rolling Eyes

I think this is about as close to rolling without actually crushing your 110 as its possible to get:

A buttock clenching few seconds!

I think the one I have in mind has been removed from the tube due to some controversy over the driver blaming one of the vehicle systems [ABS / ETC] for the accident. Steve.
