I can't be bothered to read all the posts here (I'm sloshed on Cotes du Rhône). DON'T get a sunroof. It will/may leak. Do you buy a Defender for roof light/visibility? No. They fewer cuts and holes in the frame/shell the better.

That's my pi55ed (honest) opinion.

Not got one in my Land Rover, but have had several in cars - never use them tbh, like others have said its just another source of potential issues 2005 TD5 90 Hard Top

I've had with and without and from choice wouldn't have one. Even if they don't leak the condensation leaves you and the interior wet.

The daftest thing was that the TR90 came with a sunroof but the roofrack didn't allow you enough room to open it

my tdi has got a sunroof and there is nothing worse than turning up to a meeting with a damp patch on the front of your trousers because of dripping condensation.

i would NEVER spec a sunroof on a landrover (22 years ownership)

i have one in mine and i am quite happy with it. no leaks...no dripping (MY08)

Just to close this one - 110 Utility ordered today, no sunroof. Thanks for the advice and straw poll!
