Not done anything in or too it lately, however that will soon change as I got a big box of goodies from Entreq today.
Guard dog suitably bribed and in position, as I have to go to work now (Be warned Zag, she has seen your picture!!!!). Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

That looks good Steve I will get one as soon as I am out of warranty. The low speed noise you are getting, does it sound as if it is rubbing or is it clatter? The reason I am asking is that the disc will rust and if it is noisy when its new it will be worse once the rust sets in.

Hi Brian,
A bit of both I think (shimming and pad rattle?) not really pinpointed it. There is a set of instructions but not read them yet. Dead simple to fit. Yes it will rust, maybe the pads will rub in? Not fussed about the noise because it's ace, just thought I would mention it as wasn't expecting it. Steve |

Well the big item looks very much like a fuel cooler guard. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

Picked up the 90 from its first service at Stratstone Solihull treated well and got a good price. loan car was a 12reg petrol Focus well impressed with the blue tooth hand free otherwise an unremarkable drive. Nothing to report from the service and told all was good, it did however feel better on the way home than it did before I took it,(pokier, smoother, and gear box slicker) but this may be my imagination. Was so impressed with the blue tooth Im now going to get a Parrot for the landy. and fit my steering wheel from alive and my newley obtained KBX vents. Happy days still makes me smile every time I get in it 4800 miles and 12 months old DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,
I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |
