Adrian Flux - guarantee to match prices !

Just got my Double Cab renewal throught from Adrian Flux, only gone up £120 to £530

Got a quote from LV, £253. Flux said they would match any quote, lowest they would give was £490 - I don't call that matching a quote.

Needless to say they have lost my business on the 110 and I will move the 90's insurance as well next year when it runs out.

Surely if they are saying they'll match any quote and then er, arent, that's false advertising? Unless there's some small print like 'it must be absolutely like-for-like'.

Anyway, sounds like it doesn't matter as they've lost business anyway

They lost mine too. When I swapped the 90 for a landcruiser (less than half the value) they tried to double the price. 90 was unrestricted mileage, toyota was max 5000 a year. I have no points, full no claims, live in a safe area. i told them to stuff it - I'd had my 90 policy less than two months (400 quid a year, paid up front) and they gave me 75 quid back. I complained, wrote to the regulator, got precisely nowhere. There is no way I would ever even entertain using flux again. Total charlatans.

NFU have come up trumps for the 110 and I can walk to their local office

Provided they don't start hiking the prices the 90 will transfer to them next year as well.

Adrian Flux didn't even bother to get back to me once they had spent the time takeing all my details. In all my years of car ownership im yet to have a competative quote from them. Jay
