Frank Pickles insurance brokers
Been using the above for the past 2 years now and I have been very happy, always have the cheapest premium i can find and cover offroading and green laning, interestingly you have to have a modified vehicle! I've never had to claim so can't comment on that side but they are always very helpful.

I've seen on lots of 4x4 forums that people are saying Frank Pickles is no longer taking on new business in the 4x4 market but are continuing to insure 4x4s with existing policies only. They are apparently passing 4x4 new enquires to Adrian Flux.

I can agree with both of the above posts - excellent insurance broker, I insure my kit car with them. However they have stopped doing 4x4 insurance - choosing to concentrate on kit cars, Motorhomes and other specialist vehicles.

I rang them the other week to get a quote for an Ibex I was looking at and the price was really really good, it was while doing this the guy said about them dropping the 4x4 insurance and they where only able to quote for the Ibex because it was classed as a kit car.

A real shame as they have provided me great service, I have used them and recently received notification that I will not be able to re-insure my 90 through them...
