Tell you what you didn't half get me worried. Will have a hangover though as I am at a wedding on the Sunday. Having the father in law ferry us in his 90.

As I haven't yet brought this does anyone not like the 2.2??? Feel like they should call it 2.25 series 8.

Think the only concerns from some are the DPF but it shouldn't be a problem

It's mine, I've ditched the sport and brought Baltic blue 90 xs with svx alloys, tinted windows, full set of mats and swap my svx lights over.
Pick it up very soon deal was pretty good, gave me good money for my 110 so am happy. |

I have a 1.6 tdci with dpf - absolutely no problems with it ... although it gets a good 150 mile run 5 days a week.
the 2.2 is looking to be as interesting as the td5's and 2.4's with teething problems ... |

Find out very soon haven't even driven it yet. I've heard good reports on better refinement. Not really going to use this one too hard.
Will be bolting bits on to weigh it down. |

Good choice Rob pictures when your ready, like the colour. As i have only had my 2.2 for a month (1,200 miles) i don't think about dpf, although my journey's have been a mixed in terms of miles driven. I hope that the dpf debate raises no more than a concern as the 2.2 is a very good unit, even bordering on refined. Plus the build quality of my defender had me wondering if it had been built by Japanese I suspect time will prove its actually a real defender.
