Had my 2.2 for a few weeks now, had no problems at all. Went on my first longish run at the weekend, had a strong burning smell for a good few miles which went away, im thinking that was the dpf doing its thing. Still run fine during this process. Jay

On my MY11 2.4 the burning small at 500 miles was the headlights switch ... Never forget: cars have owner, Landrover have field service personnel.

Picked it up this afternoon. It seems fairly well bolted together but the shuts rather badly. Spent the evening pulling the dash apart fitting a Bluetooth kit.

The 2.2 sounds pretty good with the window down and pretty tolerable with it up. Clutch feels lighter.

Swore I wouldn't buy a 2.2 but am really pleased with it.

Well had it for a week and have done 600 miles. Really pleased with the new engine. Towed 2.2 tonne and it pulled like a train.

Had to adjust the doors and they now shut nicely.

Fitted snorkel new stereo, people can hear me better because the 2.2 is alot quieter.

So if you are worried and 2.2 mine is fine. See how it goes over the next few years.

Well haven't had or can see any problems yet. I've only done just under 1000 miles so will keep everyone posted.
