It's not an easy job, really need a 5 yr olds hands to get the nuts on. Worth it in the end. My offside has already been bloodied. No damage to the bumperette, opened up the lady drivers BMW wing a treat though. And she apologised. Parked in High Street at the time while she tried to squeeze into a space behind me that had just been vacated by a Smart car. Watched it happen from across the road. How she ever thought her car would fit into that space beggars belief. Whistle LANDYWATCH

Someone ought to start making bumperettes edged with dragons teeth for this reason alone! 2005 TD5 90 Hard Top

yep when you realise that most cars hindquarters are quite soft compared to those bumperettes then they really don't stand a chance.
Of course we won't be reversing into anyone because, as Defender drivers, we are more observant, responsible motorists aren't we ? Whistle

I wasn't even going to bother with them but the back corners are quite exposed. But now if a poor old dear in Tescos car park decides to reverse into me her Micra will barely scratch the paint

Horrid job but its done now. Ah well, girls, beauty hurts !

So let me get this straight, if I want to fit bumperettes like these, I'll have to remove the two rear most front facing seats? Can't they be made to work together? I was actually eyeing things like these over the NAS rear bumper but if I have to remove the last row to do it, I may just go with the NAS instead.
