Coolant Top Up
Has anyone had top up their coolant?

We were under the bonnet today and noticed that cold it was below the cold level by about 1cm, so we gave it a bit of a top up. 2015 Audi Q3 Quattro S Line Plus 184 TDI Stronic

That's not unusual, so I wouldn't worry about it at all. Along as you're not constantly doing it, and therefore diluting the coolant in a significant way, a it's fine. Thumbs Up

Try a new cap if you have to top up frequently. If you do a search you will find it is a common problem and fix.

All my defenders have always been constantly lower than the level line. If I top up, it pushes a bit out and sits at the level you mention.

Mine has lost about 1 cm regularly since new, slightly more if I ignore it for a year. Now nearly 2 yrs old and 21K miles.
Did go back to the stealer a couple of times originally but they never found any reason or cure. Seems to be something it's OK to live with.

Gum, I topped it up with coolant not water as we had a bottle from when my RCZ sprang a leak. 2015 Audi Q3 Quattro S Line Plus 184 TDI Stronic
