Hi mowcop
Mine is 50cm at it's lowest mounting holes but it's a 130. I don't know if my rear crossmember is higher than a 110 or a 90. 130 crew cab 98 V8 Disco |

90XS unladen using the Dixon Bate adjustable tow hitch, as per your picture, the lowest height from ground to the top of the tow ball is 420mm. Get the tow hitch from paddocks or similar, not from the main dealer, who charge over £200 more for the same thing!

Hi,
My 110 on 750xR16 has measured in at 55cm to the top of the ball, as shown~ Click image to enlarge My 127 Rapier has this superb adjustable job on a home made mount and runs at 36cm (no skidding) Click image to enlarge Looks like I need to invest in the height adjustabe type, but I need to ensure that it will be lower than it is at the moment. |

The Dixon Bate on ours, on the lowest setting is perfect for an old low level trailer we have. It doesn't raise the front of the trailer at all. That's with a plate with a 52mm ball attached on the lowest hole of the slider.
We also have another plate with a NATO jaw on. Plugged into the highest hole on the slider, it pulls the Sankey like a dream at the perfect height. Dixon Bates are the best IMHO. It won't smash your shins in either, when rummaging in the back, if you take the slider plates off between tows. |
