Top 5 mods!

The Entreq rear mudflap reinforcing bracket (If your too lazy to make your own Whistle )

And anything that creates storage e.g. the glove box and rear MSS storage chest!

My other mods look nice but are useless as they will never get used off road Whistle

What I desire is... Twisted Evil

A rear gas door strut,
spare Defendoor,
cup holders for the back of the cubby box for the kids,
MUDs takeaway hooks to hang jackets on and their sun visor storage net thing,
brighter headlight bulbs,
a safe to hide car keys from my son in the future Shocked
Entreq stainless steel door strip cos it's got their logo on it Rolling Eyes Very Happy
an electronics reading gadget,
single key/alarm fob,
a rear camera,
radio with flip out screen for camera, sat nav, engine readouts etc,
Webasto or Espacher heater,
KM'2 on Boosts alloys,
a Hannibal roof rack (can't fit it because of the low garage, just want one Sad Could use it as a bed and throw a mattress in it Wink complete with spotlights of course Very Happy
& finally an Oztent if it can stand up to Highland winds!

Oh well that will all have to wait for now, bit by bit Thumbs Up

h4 PIAAs..... which ones? PIAA offer several options in street legal H4 bulbs. Which you recommend?

Night Tech?
Platinum White?
Xtreme White Plus?

From what I read on PIAA website I would think the Night Tech, as they seem to give the best increase in light output for a standard wattage, and apparently are not giving a blue-ish light which I want to avoid on the Defender.

Recommendations?

Then additionally, I presume that if I ask my dealer to rewire the headlights so that they get their electric juice direct via a relay, and not via the standard loom, that should further improve our light output?

Rgds, Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

hi Eric

Xtreme White Plus

I would talk the 4x4 shop near to AutoBrit, there is an ace auto-electrician there and ask them to rewire the lights

That was me Thumbs Up www.defender2.net/forum/topic12571.html

The Nene one was done at Dalco in Oulton Broad, that was an Alpine unit IIRC, sat nav, cd,dvd, camera, bluetooth etc (bluetooth and satnav separate boxes) pricey install but if you like Alpine and extra boxes that'll do the job.

My install was a single unit so no extra boxes. You could show engine info via the iPhone using an iPhone app (rev for example) and a wireless obd socket dongle. Camera installed subsequently and works great.
