Cruise Control for Puma
So - I know this has been discussed before, but there does not seem to be an easy/pragmatic upgrade here.

Old thread here: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic1301.html

TD5's were easy... a few quid off ebay, 20 mins work, and hey-presto.

Anyone managed to find a good solution for Puma yet? I'll be driving the A9 a lot soon and cruise would be a great facility to have...?

Any ideas? Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

Looks similar to the kit above, but with a switch panel rather than a stalk

Joking aside,, A easy fit,,

Main balls you need is curring into the pedal wires etc,,,
Going back to the gearbox for a decent speed pulse,
and using a scan gauge or your Bas box, to reset the engine light, they will come on, when all wired up California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

All others are LITEON brand ECUs and looms. These have to be soldered into the wiring loom at the throttle pedal. This can cause severe problems especialy under wet conditions. Ours is plug&play at the pedal!

As well we found out that these ECUS tend to loose software etc. WANTED:

Peter,

what holds the command stalk onto the trim? And where did you hide the ecu? I like the idea of the piggy back plug over stripping and soldering the OEM wiring. Thumbs Up

Brian.

You need to drill a hole into the plastic surround around the steering column. It is boltet securely there.

The ECU hides in the space behind the lodspeakers WANTED:
