Have a good time Bob lovely place down there be sure to take some pics Thumbs Up

Thanks - there will be plenty of pictures taken Thumbs Up

We did some track clearing and route finding with LRE Honiton about 18 months ago up there. There are some stunning sights on the 'moor, we saw waterfalls that even the local people did not know where there.

Hope the weather is like today, we had a max of 17.5 C this afternoon.

Bob

Yes, it's been lovely today. Is there acctually many drivable routes down there? I've looked before but found there to be basically none in the NP itself but just south a few. Would be interested in any mapping or details you may have? Thumbs Up

Not many routes that are open to the general public - most of Exmoor is private land.

Best idea is to talk to LRE Honiton, they do Trek days on Exmoor and have access to the private land.
Costs approx £85 per day for two people in a vehicle. We have done quite a few days on Exmoor with them, well worth the money - there are some pictures in my gallery.

I believe LRE are out with us next weekend so I will have a chat with them to see when they are running days up there.

I will be tracking our routes on Memory Map for future reference Thumbs Up

The battery installation continues ... I'd like to say a BIG thank you to K9F for crimping the battery cables.
Almost done, just need to wire up the switch and think about the new fuse box bracket (and remove the old fuse box)

the car audio solid brass battery terminals worked a treat, the one you can see is a smaller one.

Switch - maybe tomorrow, probably next weekend...

De-winterised my 110. Seems a bit pointless with all this sunshine. The rad muff and intake sheild are now safely in a cupboard for next year. Now we will get three feet of snow next week hahah.

Yeah but I was getting a bit tired of the restricted airflow, never had a problem with muck getting in to be fair, will see how I go on. I was amazed at the layer of filth that has laid under it though, will be taking it for a wash later.

Just to prove it does get a bit of care.

I have however noticed corrosion on the wheel rims and drive flanges. Are these covered by warranty?
