It will make it handle worse and increase your insurance premium whilst lowering your bank balance John

spend your money on a LR experience training day to see what the vehicles are fully capable of without modifications (although i'm sure your occupation has taught you most of that).
i have never seen a lifted land rover that looked right (except for comp/event/trial specials). land rovers look best understated. |

I've got both. The suspension lift is mild - courtesy of old man emu shocks and springs, but I have to agree with farmer giles - they were already fitted to my Defender when I bought it.
If it's just for bling, there are better ways to spend your money. Tony |

Wheel spacers are good for widening track on wheels with large ETs - then you can make them turn tighter. Otherwise, no point. Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Exactly. You do. not. need. it. Not to mention that it will void the warranty on your whole suspension and drive train (assuming you're still in waranty) |

Waste of money for your use by the sound of it. The right wheels and tyres will make it look the nuts by themselves. Money can be spent on better and more useful mods

Including making the spacers obsolete...just found out that Boosts are ET30-something and ZUs are ET11 (odd for alloys?). I should have saved on the spacers and bought the ZUs Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Thanks. That saved me a few quid 16 Land Rovers so far....currently a 110. Oh and a Ducati, a Montesa, a Kawasaki and an understanding wife!
