Just remember that the weight limit on a Puma roof is 150kg.

I have my Brownchurch decked out with(wash my mouth out with EP90) chequer plate, but in my defence was done before I bought it. Yes it does the job, can walk up there in complete confidence. Just be aware, as mentioned before that you are adding weight at the top of the pendulum with wheels. If you do put something on top, be aware that stuff will slip around if not tied down well, you may need extra lashing points to secure smaller items. My chequer plate rises up the sides on my rack and makes tying down stuff that is lower than the sides difficult, i.e. sheets of ply etc can be a strap nightmare Saying all that, I wouldn't be without it, nor the kids when I chuck 'em up there in a 2man tent when out camping

Phenolic coated ply is the technical name. Trade name is Buffalo Board. Comes in different thicknesses, different patterns too, from little circles, to treadplate type pattern, to hexagons. You can get a few different colours too, reds, greens browns etc...
