Adjusted the steering lock stops on my new 110. What a difference! Very Happy

Why can't they do that at the factory? Confused
try a smaller steering wheel aswell for the sportscar feel!

Cheers Greeni. I'll probably be cleaning the crumbs from his lordships lunch out of the interior for the next few days. Laughing

Nice motor Airlocker, nice to see one without wingtops and chequer plate bits, they are rare to see Sad

Loving the stock 90 too.
How can a standard 90 look sooo good ?

When I worked in the bike trade, we did a load of Rioja custom paint options Cool

There's a Eurosport presenter who loved my Heritage Green bike so much, he had one built the same! Rioja looks better on a 90 though !

I've never liked chequer plate for its own sake. Never particularly liked them for looks. However, I had put them on mine as they will serve a purpose - to protect the wings when I start needing to clamber up on the roof to operate my roof tent and load up the roll cage (come roof rack) with expedition gear.....

The rear corner protectors are also serve purpose when on expedition to protect the rear corners from damage from rocks, tree stumps, etc.

Not that I should need to justify anything, of course. Whistle Whistle Whistle Whistle

(and no, it ain't having any of that 99.9% useless tat like snow covers, plastic bumper corners, and fuel flaps! Rolling with laughter )

Thanks lads. It looks better in the flesh to be honest, the paints much deeper and darker than it looks in most of the photos.

Yesterday went laning following the A3.

Starting by picking up some byways and UCR's heading south to Hornchurch then did an about turn and followed the lanes north back to Bordon.

The weather was amazing, heavy rain, strong winds and a blizzard!

Even the minor country roads were awash with water and mud from the fields to a point that they were becoming hard to tell the difference from the none tarmaced roads Laughing

I like the standard look too..... Airlocker's does look great - especially amongst appropriate scenery!

Always liked Rioja red - had a Disco in that colour. Did think about it for mine, but had a mate who had his rioja red custom built one nicked and somehow it felt wrong. Went with the Oslo Blue cos I just happened to pick up a Td5 rear tub on ebay in that colour and took a liking to it.

My Defender was originally a basic hard top 300Tdi from the factory, Arrow Red with a white roof. Previous owner put the side windows in. Sold it to us as a body and chassis, which we completed with my old RR engine, gearbox and axles in 2003 - this is how it looked then

however, Land Rover poor paintwork and rust took their toll and we ended up with this in 2009

So well pleased with the way it looks now, even if it has got tarty chequer plate.... Thumbs Up

Collected my newly galvanised tubular side steps today. The previous owner had taken them off and fitted individual steps instead, but gave them to me when I bought the vehicle. When they're painted and re-assembled, they'll go back on in place of the individual steps again Very Happy Darren
