yep D2 axles modded to fit defender links. Also building a 100" on a custom chassis using all D2 link bars including rear watts linkage

Axle casings now away at sandblasters. Hopefully pick up tomorow ready for painting and rebuilding. No probs Steve,done a few D2 axle conversions now so i guessed it was time to build a couple of jigs so that the guesswork was taken out of the equation

Another job completed today. Have cranked my front arms to give the correct caster to suit the 2"lift. One problem with fitting the new axles is that they really show up negative or zero caster resulting in VERY twitchy steering. This combined with the silly little wheels made motorway work very nervous
So off came the front arms and the caster angle adjusted with a 200t hydraulic press to 3degrees . Much improved steering feel,better self centering and one happy bunny Pick my 285s up next week and cant wait to get them on Paul |

Nowt much Derrick, got a new chassis and rear tub ready for it when i get the chance but not a lot else . Still on the lookout for a pair of front wings

Decided to bite the bullet on saturday and re-chassis my 90 while i am quiet at work. In the process i have set a new personal best for a chassis swap-12 hours 4 hours on saturday and 8 hours today
in the process i also re-aligned the props and have got rid of my vibrations .
