Took my 90 to the Dealer for some warranty issues and saw my first 130, a DCPU. What a wonderful thing. Made my silver 90 look very effete.
Driving it in Jersey is going to be a bit of a challenge for the owner I would have thought. |

Took a mates motorbikey thing for its 1st service on a trailer today. It's one of those 125cc things that looks like a Harley wannabe and just about does 50mph, he's an ex-soldier invalided out after being involved with one of those what are now called IED's but are still at the end of the day a bomb, designed to kill or maim. In the 80's our army didn't have to travel far to get into a conflict, the IRA gave us one on our doorstep.
The 110 pulled a Ifor plant trailer like a train today, Hereford to Kings Norton, Brum, a round trip of just over 110miles. Just had a bit of fun weaving about all the parked cars outside the bike shop and then being highly amused by the antics of drivers trying to get past where it was parked as we waited to load it back up after it was done I do find having a dirty, rough and ready looking truck is given a wide berth by people in the shiney euroboxes |

After 52 days of arguing with the stealers, I got fed up and went to collect my defender from them. My final attempt of reasoning with them had failed and was left with no choice but to be on the verge of verbally abusing them. In 10 mins I left behind the wheel of my 90. I don't understand ppl that see kindness as a weakness, if you're not rude they don't listen.

Fitted the new mantec after the old one got ripped off, took a while, lots of sealant and sore fingers later it is fitted, now to buy some wheels and look up a good body repair centre for the scratches and slight dents....Defender ownership is hard work sometimes ===================================
