Screen washer?
I am not sure what it is called - but the plastic thing where the windscreen cleaner comes out of - how do I take that off, it has gotten all lose and the system is also clogged as nothing or very little comes out. It is on a Puma.

Washer nozzle I would call it. Try a needle or pin in the nozzle and you might find that it'll free the debris in there. You can also fine tune the direction of the jet like this too. Which one is it that you've got probalems with front or rear?

Washer nozzle - thank you Thumbs Up I did try with a needle and it is the one in front. As it has turned loose i was thinking about taking it of and trying compressed air in the tube.

That could work I guess. It'll more likely free it in the direction it came into the nozzle than through the direction it should have if you understand what I mean. It's difficult to explain through this. Good luck

They just pull off and tap back on. But as they are two piece if it is the "through body" part that is turning you will have to remove the dash. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Aaarggh - I guess I have to remove the dash then - or apply some black sealant and hold it in place.. Neutral as it is the "body part" that is turning.

I may be wrong but the Puma has the benefit over the TD5 in that the centre of the console comes out and you may get a spanner onto the 11mm brass nut?? I had to take the dash out of my TD5 and it was a lesson in screwdriver usage. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I will have a look tomorrow - getting tired of hanging out of the drivers side window applying washing fluid to the windscreen. It is quite cold in the morning Confused

Did you conclude how to get to the brass nut behind the dash holding the twin washer jets in place? I need to replace mine as they squirt in every direction but on the window and for the sake of £6....

Used to be able to pop the tray out of the dash in the old ones and have access that way but not applicable to the new Puma dash. Stereo surround maybe? Let me know!

I'm sure you probably already have but have you adjusted the direction of the nozzles with a pin or similar? Thumbs Up

Sure have. Direction of brass jet bares no resemblance to the direction the screen wash squirts Rolling Eyes

You can take the Winscreen vents off and the ash tray out of the Td5 to gain access to it.

Cant you do the same on a Puma? Current:D4 HSE
