Still driving around in salt here so had a break from decorating and pressure washed Elektra's bottom
Treated the swivels, rivets, windscreen frame joins, wipers, bezels, mirror arms etc etc again with ACF-50 (used the pump action dispenser provided, not great but does the job and is a lot cheaper than the the aerosol) From here http://www.chainspeed.co.uk/categories/Bik...CF%252d50/ Nothing is getting through all the coatings and she is still looking good Finished off with a quick polish as ACF-50 strips polish off where ever it over-sprays. |

Hitched up the horse trailer and braved the freezing fog, ice and rain this morning

Lovely looking horse MOG
well today I towed the caravan for the first time. OK its only 1.4 tonnes but I didn't expect it to have so little effect on the Defenders road behavior especially the engine where loss of oomph was very slight. It actually seems to drive better whilst towing than solo, less bouncy etc. I used to be a fairly nervous tower but not any more. Mightily impressed |

Spent a couple of hours on Saturday washing off the road salt build up from the last couple of weeks, and reapplying lots of fresh ACF-50

Well Zag would be disappointed at the colour of our 110. Used to be black, now a mucky white. First time this morning I had to wait for glow plugs to go out before it started.
Called in and saw Olaf at Entreq. Talk about a big boys sweet shop. Saw a few prototypes Picked up one or two goodies. Where to next on our business trip? |
