I have some galv rock sliders from FirstFour, overall good built quality and nicely finished.
Whilst in P&Ps workshop last week, checking out my roll cage, we had a look at a FirstFour 'Shadow' 'extended for air con' tubular winch bumper that was on a 130 there.... again looked well made and nicely finished. That was fitted with a Superwinch X9 as I recall. Didn't really like how far it extended, but for their tubular ones, if you have air con and don't get their extended one you need to cut the grill to fit. I'm thinking of getting a galv version of the one you've linked to - the classic design for air con - but the one for smaller winches, rather than the big Warn. Like you, for us this will also be for expedition/overland travel - so we will probably go with the Goodwinch 9.5, along with this bumper https://www.firstfour.co.uk/item/2046679/d...ch-winches Not completely decided yet as the winch and winch bumper hasn't come to the top of the 'things to buy list' list, but probably will later this year! |

I have a non winch tubular bumper from them that is still up for sale
Quality and finish of their products is good but fitting can be a bit of a pain. Terrafirma fixing plates are much better and a whole lot easier to fit If I purchased another FF bumper I would also get a couple of TF fixing plates as well. FirstFour's 'About Us' page gives a few more details about the design and build.
http://www.firstfour.co.uk/p/about Also their Contact us page says this
I emailed them about the winch bumpers after 5 pm and they had replied before 6pm same day, so they seem to have a good customer service going anyway.... |

FF do have good customer service and I am sure they will arrange fitting - I think I have asked them before.
Talk to Peter (or email him) I believe he is the owner. Bob 2015 Jaguar XE240 R Sport - goes like ....... !! 2013 Defender 90 CSW - sold 2009 Defender 110 Double Cab - sold 2001 TD5 90 CSW - offroad project - sold to a forum member 2011 Porsche Boxster - for the sunny days ! |
