Sorted out the general mess in the back.
Checked the tow ropes. One scrapped, one needs replacing shortly, the rest o.k. Checked all tyre pressures and upgraded all my lights. In other words I cleaned em' . Sent the tubular side steps that came loose with my 110 off to be galvanised today. When they're back and painted, they'll replace the fold-up individual steps that are currently fitted Darren

Took it to the polish car wash in the local home base today.
Well impressed only £10 wash and wax & they even when nuts and cleaned all the mud off underneath I'll be taking it back there after its next trip off road. Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

headlamp bulb blew last night so changed it this morning then discovered the fuse had blown as well. It works fine now so hopefully thats that. At least with old fashioned motors everything is easy to get at. With my previous vehicles it was a back to the dealer job as the whole headlight cluster plus other bits and pieces had to be removed first.
Just have to change the towball now for a high neck suitable for Alko hitches and its off to West Mayo in the caravan for the half term break in our lovely (uncharacteristic) mild sunny weather |

I crawled around in the snow fitting a pair of Entreq mudflap reinforcement brackets.......my hands were so cold I lost all feeling in my fingers and the six bolts decided to play awkward!
Job's finished now and I'm well pleased with the result. |
