Germany 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Baltic Blue
How good is your heating?
Not exactly Defender-specific Embarassed but it's minus 18 outside this morning and I'm about to drive to work Shocked
I hope those claims by LR that the Puma is X-percent faster to warm up are true Whistle

Just wondered how cold everyone else's Defenders are across the world?

Matt Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Taking mine longer to heat up in this cold weather, -3, about 10 minutes. Still ferocious and have to turn it right down eventually Thumbs Up

The tubular greenhouse heater plugged into the house mains has the inside around +4C, outside it's just warming up from being around -6C. It's done what I want it to do..........no iced up windows Thumbs Up but there is just a bit of frost along the bottom of the windscreen, no problems, the heated screen will cure that while I trying to get the child in for school Rolling Eyes

If you remember, I followed your example (with a slightly more powerful heater) - cheers Thumbs Up and there was also no icing. However, at minus 18 I think I was pushing it a bit to get the steering wheel warm enough to use Sad

Back in my Series days, about 30 years ago, I had an Aga. Used to leave a brick from a night storage heater in the oven over night and transfer it (via wire handle) to my Series IIa in the morning.
By the time I'd had breakfast it was toasty warm Very Happy
