Even last Summer, one of my so-called "friends" pointed out that the longest hairs on my head were growing out of my ears Big Cry Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Something that makes me grumpy is the volume of junk that still comes through the letterbox despite the fact that I am and have been registered with the MPS for years (and Royal Mail Walksort optout, and anything else I can think of) AND have a polite notice requesting no unaddressed mail or junk mail through the letterbox!

I had a rant at b****y Virgin Media last week, because approx once per week I get a letter addressed to "occupant" from them, and they are members of the Direct Mailing Association (who undertake to abide by the MPS opt-out rules). Their comment - "oh yes, but we're allowed to send letters to solicit new business" - the hell they are. Oh, and ringing them up and selecting the option 0 to speak to a human, when prompted, repeatedly got me a "you have selected an invalid option" message! I'm afraid I was rather blunt with the person I finally spoke to.

Another thing that really annoys me is the number of plastic charity clothing collection bags that come through the door - they come in waves. Last week, I actually had one per day from different 'charities' - how many surplus clothes do they think I have, FFS?! Anyway, by the time I throw my old clothes out not even a vagrant would want to be seen in them. I have heard that if you put one of these bags out it will simply be nicked by some other crowd, who (allegedly) send them to Eastern Europe intead of the proper charity.

I stopped Readers Digest junk mail by writing 'Deceased' on one and posting it back.
Maybe it'll work with others.
I always post back any reply paid stuff without filling out the form.
I shake every magazine before I remove it from the rack in the shop and leave the rubbish on the shelf.

Maybe you need to change the sign to be more direct and to the point!

Just think about what Lord Browne pocketed from BP, he should have been stripped of his title for putting costs before integrity and more importantly lives. He believed he was above the law.... Typical of one of Blair's cronies. 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper

Must admit it annoys me when people put complete out of context garbage on what is basically sensible informative thread.

Sometimes have to resist the temptation to rip into people when they do that. Ho hum thats life!

Now to knock seven bells of hell out of a chimney breast. That should get rid of some pent up anger/energy.
