Must be a bitsa then? There are definitely none on the front or back of the vehicle. All the other stuff is in place. Are they really required with the alloys? Would make a great bargaining tool if they should be there and are missing. Insurance problems to a new owner?

Personally Ive found they make the ride much more comfortable as less rolling around corners.
If its sold with a Style pack they should be there - the alternative is to request the print off that states exactly what was included when it left the factory - this will identify if it should have had the roll bars fitted Not sure re the insurance but principal dictates if sold with Style pack they should be there ![]() |

Thank you so much for the help and I will be double checking with dealer tomorrow re the exact spec on it. As you say, if it IS a style pack they should be on there. If they have cobbled some extras to make it almost equivalent to a style pack then ok

it's a U shaped bar that is fixed to both sides of the chassis and also on each end of the axle, about 20mm thick. it limits the axle movement, hense is makes for a firmer ride but less articulation off road. so good and bad depending on how you use the truck |

If I get an even better price I may haggle them down even further and fit a set myself. Are these readily available second hand? or should I insist dealer fits them from new?

I vaguely remember something in LRO about fitting yourself so guessing possible, my understanding is unless you wish to do hard core off roading and need greater articulation, it's better to have them. Also not sure where you would stand if they came fitted and then removed, if the vehicle was then rolled in an accident I wonder how the insurance would stand?
Probably a good idea to ensure they haven't been removed in the first place ![]() |
