If it is any help, I have just had five 285/75x16 BFG KM2s fitted, the price worked out without discounts and bartering at £835 for the five, so about £160 all up per tyre (incl fitting, new valves, balancing, VAT).
I had a year-old, unused 285/75x16 Kuhmo KL71 that was my spare, which had never seen a road surface and had been kept under a vinyl cover all the time it was on the carrier, and the tyre dealer gave me £100 for it in px. New KL71s are about £20 less than KM2s (the figure of £100 is the amount that the bill was reduced after VAT - I paid £735 or thereabouts). So on that basis the trade-in value of your BFG should be at least £120. |

I would say that is about right between £100- 130..... People love the KM2 so pay the money for them, and the KM is so rare to find now. Glyn |
