As you may recall my mate does displays throughout Europe with his Red Arrows Hawk. Is more expensive than owning a Defner at £10k a piece for the models it makes a very expensive burning hole in the ground when and if it goes Pete Tong. Impressive clip! Boys toys eh? ![]() Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

It's been a few years since I went to any of the shows but the Ghost Squadron were always a favourite and the Lancaster was always one of my favourite models. It actually sounded fairly good "in the flesh".
Posting that link made me wonder if it was still flying - a bit of searching revealed that the model was "lost" at a European show when the main transmitter failed in the early 1990s ![]() |
