Steve,
As you may recall my mate does displays throughout Europe with his Red Arrows Hawk. Is more expensive than owning a Defner at £10k a piece for the models it makes a very expensive burning hole in the ground when and if it goes Pete Tong. Impressive clip! Boys toys eh? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

It's been a few years since I went to any of the shows but the Ghost Squadron were always a favourite and the Lancaster was always one of my favourite models. It actually sounded fairly good "in the flesh".
Posting that link made me wonder if it was still flying - a bit of searching revealed that the model was "lost" at a European show when the main transmitter failed in the early 1990s |
