Its not the noise so much as the curious way they handle. very little rubber in contact with the road means they feel a bit skittish and don't inspire confidence really.

I have been driving around on BFG muds for the past 5 years (along with BFG A/T and the General grabbers). I have NEVER in any way had any 'Skittish' feelings- I feel 100% confident with them. I used to drive the Discovery (with 265/75/16 Muds) at 110 mph every weekend down the Auto-bahn is all weather (Bit slower in the rain and snow). This is one of the reasons why I was 100% on getting them for the Defender.

Glyn yours wouldn't be skittish on roller blades, it's too nicely planted on the the road Wink A little light 90 with a ten foot lift is another matter Shocked Laughing

Why not give these tyres chance you might like them?

I thought you bought the 90 as a weekend toy so why put AT's on it?

STT's are a perfectly acceptable mud tyres so little point changing for BFG MT2/ MTR's etc.

God was thinking of drivers when he was making German road law Wink Thumbs Up

I see what you mean about a 90...... But why lift a 90? Approach and departure angle is more than it's maximum climbing gradient anyhow, and bigger tires will add a couple of degrees to that too- surely it would be wiser to go down the route or under body protection and long travel suspension?

considering a set of 255.85.16 KM2s for the 110...loads more money than a 265?
