Hi Brian

That was not a short answer at all - Big thank you for your help.
I did clean the MAP sensor today - it was rather dirty. And we did check the cut wires properly - and the ferrite ring is in place. I will follow your advise and just drive it for a few days and see how it behave.
My local Mechanic do have a Hawk Eye - but as I am the only one driving a Puma, and it is quite expensive to unlock it to read the Puma, it was maybe an idea that I found the money to buy a proper diagnostic tool - but not right now - vacation with wife and 5 kids drained my wallet Big Cry

Best regards

Short update - did 150 km today without any problems - pulls great from 1500 rpm. Thumbs Up will give it a few more days and then see what fault codes will show.

Regarding clutch change - I ordered a new one today - was told that normally one does´t change the release bearing as it is part of the slavecylinder - I never changed a clutch without changing the release bearing so I ordered a new slave cylinder kit as well - anything special about changing it?

It is at lot of work. A bit tricky to get the belhousing-to-engine bolts. You may need a cardanic joint/extension. To remove the exhaust/cat is also a PIA. Tip: be careful not to break the protruding plastic tubing from the slave cylinder. Puma 110" SW

Short update - clutch changed. Car is doing great - no limp mode and pulls great from 1500 rpm all the way to 3200 rpm.
Regarding poor connections can anyone recommend something to clean connections with. Am planning to go over all connections in the engine bay. 88 Ser. 3 1980 -sold
