oh yes,.... and they have about doubled the number of speeding/red light cameras in the Geneva area since you left.
And the minimum speed ticket price which you get for exceeding the limit by not more than 10 km/hr, so with 5km/hr allowance it means a ticket for doing 56-60 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone, used to be 5 years ago 40 chf which made you... Crying or Very sad ... or in the best case ... Ner Ner ..., but now is 120 chf which make you ... Big Cry

That all said, I haven't had a ticket anymore since I drive the Defender, but I really do believe that the Puma 2.4 are better off when treated gentle than when pushed. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I've not been caught in the defender, when we were in CH, we had a Q5 as well, and that seemed to be attracted to cameras Sad

Yet another blinkered view by Zag... the FL2 IS the most reliable Land Rover model ever made. I almost bought a Discovery4 Commercial and was given the stats from a LR franchise owner. Maybe FL2 isn't Zaggable enough but they are well known to keep the owners happy and we will see how long Zags 110 lasts before the critisisms start... or have they already?? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

FL2s are good. BUT they are marred by the FL1 Gayander.

I always found that with previous cars they were always livelier and more economical for a few days after towing the caravan. I expect the Defender will be the same. As with humans a good workout seems to clear the cobwebs

Treat your Defender like you treat your women, be nice at first (up to temperature).........then just be 'you' Thumbs Up

Off Topic Off Topic Who did yo work for then Greeni i did the same course for 4 yrs driving for Cox plant hire after they took over LPH Equipment the instructor used to loose his head at me changing down using the exhaust brake and gears to slow down, "modern trucks have hi tech brake systems use them to slow down then select the gear you want to continue in" Sorry Censored try crossing Milton Keynes quickley in an artic and see how much brakes you have left before half way across, and a small fire at each wheel by the time you have finished, and i certainly would not use my brakes all the way down the "Autoroute Blanc" from the Mont Blanc tunnel whole world of brake fade if you get that wrong doing Convoy Exceptional at 80Tonnes. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Wish they would fit one to the Defender old habits die hard !! Volvo FH12'2 have a 4 position swich for different strengths 4 nearly puts you through the windscreen no need for the middle pedal unless someone pulls out on you or to actually stop the thing. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

They used to put an exhaust brake on the bigger Fendt tractors, didn't half help with around 24tonnes of wheat rumbling down the road Whistle
