Rear Panel Access!

You know the rivets always go here and stream from the corrosion as water/mud attacks them from the back. Well I have sprayed it all many times from inside the wheel arch and from the interior by the seat end but it's a bit hit and miss as you can't get at it

Somebody once told me these panels just lift out, is that right? Would be good to include it in the corrosion guide if they do

the row of rivets hold the panel to the box section that forms the sealing edge for the door and the bottom part of the B pillar.

Best bet would be to drilll them out, remove the panel etc and do your business. OR remove the B pillar and get galved and repainted

Just wiped it down as it rained today

Thanks TIG, your right just had a proper look, so it's down to making sure it's well plastered

Was going to use the Series today but forgot the exhaust was off, that gave me and the neighbours a shock on start up

It will take Steve the next couple of days to remove all the blankets and hot water bottles it's wrapped up in

honestly Bob - what do you think

it's only gotten wet twice. Even on the L2B i ordered hot weather to keep her dry ! - will be out in the 90 this w/e

Presumed you checked to see if it was an offshore wind, wouldn't want salt air coming over Maderia Drive

Alex's Porsche has got wet more than that and it's only 4 months old and pampered

I doubt if it will ever go out in the snow though
