What do you use on your chassis?

I appreciate this may only be for the die hard enthusiasts...

When I get mine I plan to prepare and paint the chassis with black satin Hammerite paint, a few coats, and then use Waxoyl afterwards, as I love a belt and braces approach to things.

I used to use Waxoyl on my Series 3 many years ago and wondered if I am thinking about this in the right way:

1. Waxoyl clear for injecting into cavities, door bottoms, chassis rails etc

2. Waxoyl Black for spraying onto exterior faces of chassis, crossmember, footwells etc

What I am not sure about is whether people use the following product in the same range on the chassis, as it appears you can only brush it on rather than spray it, which seems a total faff and ball-ache. (you can buy this in an aerosol but you'd need plenty of them and be bankrupt at the end)

you can buy a tin from halfords the hammerite wax oil and also a spraying system like what they sell to paint fences pour it in and your away

at work we use it by the tin and is in spray form out of a gun which plugs into the air line much easier but then it is on a ramp and you can get everywhere
