THAT'S more like it. She's a beaut! Very low mileage and looks straight too.
What a fun toy. (jealous) |

Its easy to get a better one when you have convinced yourself that you need to spend double the amount. The vehicles around £4-5k were just SO shabby, all doors rotten, panels bashed, interiors just monging.
Pics taken on nice long test drive so not my lawn luckily, though I was tempted to scale those piles of hardcore and tarmac for a laugh With the extras and the lift, it feels invincible - should make up for my inexperience offroad then I already have a shopping list of extras I want to add onto it to make it a little less agricultural. 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |

Very nice. Will you be planning any side windows at all?

looks very nice, great colour, the only problem I can see from the photos is the "land rover" grille badge is in the wrong place .. nice wheels and tyres too

Yes I spotted that too, will move it when its finally on my driveway.
I know that sidewindows will make a huge difference in terms of visibility etc, but for now I am keeping as is. I am planning alterations that the Wife won;t notice So far I have the following in my list: Replace seats with XS version, plus a matching cubby Steps all round (2" lift makes it a real step up!) Rear headlining Acoustic matting (if I can justify it) otherwise just some new mats Mudflaps all round Seat risers Dog guard and gun rack Might put black chequer plate on wing tops and bonnet If I keep the hard top config I will put mud stuff panels inside Tow bracket, ball and elecs are being done for me. Forgot to mention, it also has a swingaway spare wheel carrier that goes with the door, nice touch, and stainless bolts everywhere too. 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |

you might also want to pop some security on it too at least a retainagroup security markings and some physical deterrents.
did you also check the fuel pressure regulator on the back of the head ? and the oil-in-the-loom issue fixed ? I miss the sound of my td5 .. |

A work of art - congratulations
p.s. and enjoy it a bit before obsession sets in... Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Obsession set in when I was 16 and a friend of the family said I should buy his Series 3 SWB with safari roof. LOVED that car, shame I missed out. 2016 D4 HSE
