Unused electrical connectors in the back
Hi there

Some days ago I dismantled the rear speaker trim (where the rear speaker is located) and I found 3 electrical connectors not used there (I'm not have rear speakers) One of them big and the others quite little.

Some idea about the purpose of those connectors?

If im reading right (sorry) you dont have any speakers...well the 2 small ones will be that.

If you have a t shaped connector on the right side; this could be the spare power socket. Mike

Thanks for the quick answer and sorry for my english (sometimes not too good)

In fact I don't have rear speakers, so Its good to know that all ins pre-wired and an extra power socket is available down there. Do you know if this power socket is switch off with the starter?

Dont worry - i cant talk your language anywhere near aswell as you can talk mine!

For me the power connector just worked, some i think had to put a fuse in...i seem to recall it was straight from the battery - but im starting to doubt myself now! Mike

I think (please post a photo):
two little = Speaker

i'm quite sure:
the big = (with female like that - | ) is the accessory socket (sigarettes burns)

some of those cablas might be for the rear fog light that we do not have in Chile and instead the dealer fits the additional reverse light Puma 110" SW

yes it's directly connected to the battery (to the 60A fuse under the passenger seat), so you have always 12V indipendently from the ignition key position.

I put a socket to it and I often charge my phone when I park the car (hidden from other eyes Whistle ....)

I think that power socket is often used for a rear work light. It works the same way as the cigarette lighter and as said above is connected directly via a 60A socket (although the front one is then passed through a 20A fuse).

I can't find the wiring diagram for the rear one, I'm afraid. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

I didnt found this cable in the wiring diagram also and in fact, I like to use this connector for a working light. Mr. Green

Bosum as dgardel said right side (see figure)

Remember that mine is LHD. So, I don't know if the wiring change or not.
