Being a grumpy old git, how about those bogof deals in the supermarkets? As a single parent I do the shopping for me and the 2 boys, in Sainsburys, as in most supermarkets, there is often deals on pre-packs of lean mince, today I went to the relevant aisle. There was the usual "Buy 3 packs for £10 or £4 each", just along the fridge was another offer "Buy 2 packs for £6", these were the same pack sizes, same product. Now you haven't got to be a rocket scientist to work that one out. When I took my 10 year old in a couple of days ago he did work out the deal on his fravourite crisps. The deal was buy a pack of 14 for £3.50, this one had all the flashy stickers around it but on the shelf underneath you could buy 2 packets of 8 for £3. So how does this work then, I know that the retail trade treat us like imbeciles no wonder shoplifters take the but what do the shops expect. How many times when paying by cash and you give the odd change so you get a smaller amount of small denominational coin back, you just get a blank stare.
You half expect them to stick their finger in their ears and say "Red" backwards |

decided to clear shed and go to the dump.
picked up an old tin of white pain, tin split, paint all over drive and jeans. that meant i had to scrape the paint up, pressure hose the drive. while i was out there i washed the FL, that made the Puma look dirty so washed that. while i was about it i checked the works on the FL which meant i had to do the same to the Puma. FL needed fuel so went out to get some diesel "oh while your out there can you get........" and all because of a split paint tin BM52 |

after careful thought and reading various posts i decided to buy rear stop/tail LED lights from a large web provider who seems to have a good name.
they took my money for 2 bulbs they sent me 1 bulb that bulb has no markings on it and was wrapped in torn bubble wrap. methinks this could be a rip off and a cheap far eastern bulb........................ bl@@dy well p!!sed off at the moment. i have sent them an email...................................
