Am I right in thinking you used body tape to fix the side bars to the wings instead of the rivnuts as per LR supply? That's what I did with mine when I had it and it worked well and had the advantage of not leaving tell tales on trade in.

I remember I got my bars for a good price and nearly got my money back on them on resale.

Thought so, in fact I more than likely followed your advice fixing them that way As they're reasonably flexible the bars need that bit of support on the outer edge.
