Many thanks guys, very helpful.

I'm now sold on the dark tints - and I think i can justify them for keeping the interior cooler when going to Spain.

I'm still slightly agnostic about the A-frame but have decided to go for them when I looked at my TR and realised that I had parked 1/2" from the door of the Ford Focus shopping trolley.

Am I right in thinking you used body tape to fix the side bars to the wings instead of the rivnuts as per LR supply? That's what I did with mine when I had it and it worked well and had the advantage of not leaving tell tales on trade in.

I remember I got my bars for a good price and nearly got my money back on them on resale. Steve.

But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Thought so, in fact I more than likely followed your advice fixing them that way Wink As they're reasonably flexible the bars need that bit of support on the outer edge.

As to the other 'tis the season of goodwill and all that Smile Steve.
