I can get a 'kin huge fridge/freezer combined for the kitchen at half the price of the cheapest above

Im convinced that yet again its price for maximum profit rather than costing ...
They would probably double or triple their sales if they were priced better........... Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

That made me laugh......you're not wrong.... However, I'd prefer pay £xxxx for overland goods than less for the home

If you're a member of this forum, I bet you're guilty of things like that too

I know that Brendan, you're one of the best value suppliers out there

I just wish manufacturers would price them more realisticaly to start with ........ best part of a grand for a travelling fridge is bloody silly, and puts them way out of the price range for your average punter  Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

Back on topic,

My Defender came with a bonnet mounted spare I think it looks great with the tent on top and 2 spares but it is getting removed because it rattles the bonnet and makes it heavy to lift.

Also came with 1.22 ratio gears in the Defender transfer case, these are really noisy and drive me nuts. I think there are quieter gears available now.

Me too! Interesting that the roof lights light-up the bonnet and cause glare (prob worse on a light colourred Defender?).

Snow cover (I live in Aviemore - a ski resort - for a lot of the year), and driving lights (driving up single-track roads out in Northern Scotland in winter, with deer throwing themselves at your car) are still on my list of probable upgrades

I fitted roof lights (and a snow cover) for the same reasons and have found them to be very useful whilst out shooting those damn deer in the hills. No probs with light glare from bonnet. I also use the wagon for getting to and from the town which I'm sure is unacceptable as I also have a winch and RAI fitted.
