East side. took the byway up from Mannington Bohune up onto the edge of the plain. across to the CCDA, across the ranges (the flags had just come down) and right around the ranges. then back through Devizes.
didn't make it over the West side as time was against me. ![]() |

I'm looking very good for this now - only prob for me is I'll need to be back home by about 4pm as we have friends up in the evening, so got to get house ready! Any chance we'll be on a route where I can dive out at about 2pm-ish? I know it's hard to say where we will be at a certain time of course, but just thinking if generally speaking it'll be reasonably easy for me to get back to a road at around that time - very roughly!

I'll be there on the day, more than likely with Chunksters group but I think we're all meeting up around lunchtime so shall see you there. As it's going to be wet I'll make sure the Le Chameau wellingtons are on board

Same here - really looking forward to it. I'm bringing my eldest son along this time as well. I'm not very good with co-ordinaries etc so will aim for the postcode previously mentioned and stick to channel 10 still?

I spent all afternoon and evening bimbling around the areas.... it's dried out well in places (where the graded tracks are) but nice and muddy on some other RoW's
![]() SJM.... the tank crossing is easy to find, it's on the main road heading South from Devizes, so you'll literally drive straight through it as you travel. The MoD have only just finished "doing up" the crossing (they're slowly doing all of them) so there's a large concreted area where we can all park up safely. |
