As said the gas bottle log burners are good and almost free to run. A few bits of wood and possibly a small amount of coal and they generate quite a lot of heat.
The diesel or kerosine ones are good but can get a bit wiffy in a small place. The gas ones are good but can get expensive to run of used a lot. Pete |

make friends with your local trucking firm for a limitless supply of used engine oil and get an oil burner.
