Straight swap, just need to change to steel wheel nuts, as you have suggested.
Oh and have the wheels painted white, before the Defender Fashion Police catch you Richard Either a 90, 110 or 130. Discovery 5 |

Wolfs are great wheels. My son managed to spin the Defender in the wet, side swipe a high kerb, knock most the air out of the Tyres - I had to brush the concrete dust off the rims, pump up the tyres and carry on.

Re Wolf wheels some companies on their websites and on internet shopping sites ar advertising these at fairly reasonable rates. The picture shows a genuine rim with stamped markings etc. Well this is not what arrives. Instead you get Britpart chinese copies with no markings. Also the steel was pitted , looking like used ones that had been resprayed !
There is no evidence in their adverts that the wheels are not genuine and the LR part number is quoted. Just a warning to others who are thinking of purchasing this way. I've now ordered them from my local dealer for a small amount more. |

The problem with faked wolfs is an old one. Always make sure you get wheels marked with ANR4583! There are some real dangerous copies out there.
And back to the question - simply swap it, use the steel whell nuts and keep in mind that torque on the steel nuts on the heavy duty wolf is higher (170 lb/ft instead of 130) . Never forget: cars have owner, Landrover have field service personnel. |
