Just been talking to my buddy down at Westovers and sadly this one has just been sold But apparently to a guy from Jersey so may not all be bad , hopefully it's you, if not you'll have the pleasure of seeing 'your' truck being driven around by someone else. OK Guys MANY thanks for all the help.
I have verbally "shaken hands" with Aaron at Westovers so yes that is me. So DJ i owe you one and a result for the Defender2 community i reckon. I have asked for some prices for some other extras and I'm not to sure about the dual finish alloys. Whilst I do intend to Bling it up a little over time, the only wheels I like on the Defender are steel, Boosts and Black Zus. Having said that I have never seen a Landie with the dual finish alloys so opinions would be welcomed - not a deal breaker anyway Brian |

Your'e welcome - That's a result then I must be due a bit of commission from westies
The wheels do like nice, if it had been down to the Mrs we would have had them on ours (but it was already fitted with Boost alloys) Hope you got the price down a bit as I seem to remember it was a bit top range. I added a few bits to mine - led lights, storage drawer (came today - hurrah) dog guard (still to arrive) and some of those fancy plastic grilles (kbx) which actually look a lot better than I thought (wifey choose those!) Yours is a nice looking truck in the silver, IIRC it's got the all terrain tyres, which seem to work pretty well! If you need anything sorting before you pick it up I could probably help as I'm not far from them. Glad to help and you were able to get sorted, that dpf sounds like it could be a pain on Jersey as you'll be twice round the island before its regenerated! Thanks Tim, They do look smart I think I will go with them.
Dave that's a very kind offer. i would have preferred Grey but my wife preferred the Silver so that was that sorted. I have been sent Photos by Aarron and it looks pretty, if perhaps a little bland after my Tomb Raider TD5. As far as accessories go Must haves are a NAS rear step and Rust proofing. Probables are to take it to Noisekiller for sound proofing. Possibles are; Black chequer plate (I know I know) LED Rear lights Screen protection hoop in gloss black Brian |
