WANTED: Drum for Warn 8274
I might as well be asking for hens teeth, but what the heck- if you don't ask, you don't get!!

I am looking for a reduced diameter drum for my 8274 (standard width). Ideally Gigglepin but would consider whatever is out there Smile.

..................hopes for a Christmas miracle!!

I was tempted to go freespool, but I don't plan on doing any competition in the ute. It is all for general off-road/ recovery.

I reckon Gigglepin will probably do their reduced drum for about £300.... so paying upto an extra £100ish for something I am not going to use feels pointless..... if that makes sense?.... Or am I missing something and need educating? Mr. Green

Hi Glyn

Did not check what Nick or Jim, are selling their drums for at present,,

No, your not missing anything, not worth paying for something you will never use ?

Si at Eng eng has the drums listed at £399 is see http://www.x-eng.co.uk/Freespool.asp?MID=77

Jim's std reduced dia drum http://gigglepin4x4-shop.co.uk/epages/esho...G72005_Std

Thumbs Up Haha well said, but I have to make sure I have enough beer tokens for Christmas and New year..... Apparently, buying Land Rover parts for the girlfriend as a Christmas gift isn't acceptable Sad .... But then again, it will be her that has to drag the line out so maybe it is for her!!!

2 possible reasons I can think of;

- Larger Rope capacity
- increased torque

just a thought
