Even though we all like to keep our motors up together it's such a nice feeling that those in authority agree that they are roadworthy as well Thumbs Up Mine passed last Friday with me not doing anything to it, nice to know it's safe( well the moment it was on the ramp anyway Whistle )

Went on one of the Land Rover Adventure days around Bala on Sunday. It's the one where you drive your own vehicle but they lead you round. Having never done any offroading before I was quite amazed at the things my car would get up, down and through....

Needless to say I have wet carpets all round at the moment Laughing

Just went to the beach with the kids - the Landy was shaking in the wind! About a force 9-10, HUGE waves, pretty spectacular.

Had coffee and cakes in the back with the kids - cosy!

Took some lame pics if anyone is interested. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

Okay - they are even worse than I thought! I blame the camera (HTC Desire S!)

At last! I finally belong on here!

Today, I stood and looked at it, and waited for the snow.***

As an interloper from the D3 forum (ages ago and I can't remember why... Confused ) and after 29 years without a personal Series/Defender torture chamber, I am back. Back to the careful right elbow movements on steering, keeping thumbs out of steering wheel spokes, selective right foot/left foot warming (nearly wrote HEATing) etc etc BUT
• it's fun
• it's nostalgic
• it's Force Majeure on the road (with the bumper embellishment),
and
• it reminds me how smo-o-o-o-oth the D3 is , on a ageing backside Shocked, when I swap back Mr. Green

It's 1995, 120k miles, proper accelerator linkage. And mine.

Two questions...

1. Where's the snow?
2. Anyone come across an "All Car Equip" alarm? Google hasn't Shocked There are 2 ultrasonic sensors and a mystery key - no other clues...

Cheers, VeeTee,

You worked a charm - Google DID indeed, second time around, but no website for 'em. Looks like I will have to try 19th century technology and telephone them Laughing Carefully going everywhere

Couldn't have put it better. Can't wait for my two 5-year-old grandsons to see it.... We have superb empathy - may be something to do with mental age Very Happy Carefully going everywhere
