I never thought it would be possible to put 'lovely' and 'Marina' in the same sentence ............ |

Marina door handles also feature on the last two iterations of the Reliant Scimitar. They really were a door handle for all seasons.

Well I for one have never seen a Marina with a spoiler, but I have now.
From what I recall of my Dad’s Marina were the rubbish brakes and handling of a wet blancmange. Stopping required around one bank holiday weekends notice and large size elevens. I believe servo assisted brakes were an optional extra along with a radio, heated rear window, radial tyres, vinyl roof, cloth upholstery. I can still remember my poor legs in shorts burning on the vinyl seating in the summer. |

Maybe not quite "cars you don`t see on the road anymore" but you don`t see these very often!!!
A Sunday run out last year (an MG club event) for a trio of 2 seaters - two of which are pre-war (ish)!! And one of which isn`t an MG! How fortunate to have such toys to play with. ![]() Click image to enlarge Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly! |

seen a peugeot 206 in the same colour as my 306, the 206 was really the last of the decent of the peugeots, it was under showed due to the 306 and 106 sharing the crown from the 205, and the 406 pushing forward from the 405. Hard to believe that my 306 is 24 years old now and nearly 18 years owner ship by me

I live in North Norfolk and seem to be on the route for many classic car runs.
Painting outside of house last weekend and was blessed with a superb display of 70s and early 80s cars. Love this thread. |
